Digital/Sub Editor

We are looking for someone with excellent written communication skills to manage and re-purpose content for a variety of digital and print media. We are at the forefront of content creation and also have access to extensive archives of our own material in two specialist B2C publishing sectors – inland waterways and off road motorcycle sport.

Our audience increasingly consumes content in different formats – still in print but increasingly in a wide range of digital formats (websites, enewsletters, digital magazines, social media). We need a highly efficient individual with the ability to manage our incoming content, to help identify the best outlets for it as well as taking archive material and making it suitable for those new outlets. The role will include the sub-editing of contributed copy for use in both print and digital formats.

The role will extend across both of our sectors but subject knowledge is not a requirement of the role. More importantly you will be highly organised, have a flexible work approach, and be comfortable juggling multiple deadlines.

The position is likely to based from home and could be a freelance role.

If you think this is you then send your CV and a covering letter telling us why you would be the right person for the position to Peter Johns, Publisher and Managing Director, at peter.johns@wwonline.co.uk
